For Writing we had been doing a lot of things, one of it is Descriptive Writing Prompts, it's when you get a picture in a slideshow and you use writing stuff to describe it. Like Alliteration, Metaphor, etc.
It might not be finished but I'm trying to.
I found it hard to make 4 sentences on each picture.
I found it easy to come up with an Onomatopoeia.
Here's my work.
I was a student at St Bernadette's. This is a place where I shared my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Kia ora Mark, I'm Amelia from Yaldhurst Model School.
ReplyDeleteI liked the way you put lots of sentences to describe the pictures that you picked or were given.
This reminds me of a blog post were people were put into groups and had to write about something, say an avocado or a spider, or ballet shoes.
To improve, you could add more sentences as well as more pictures. Also, next time you should know that trains can't go through the rails, but other from that it's really good.
What does Onomatopoeia mean?
Was this fun to do?
Did you pick the pictures?
Bye Mark, keep it up!
