Harmless Collar ( For Non-Fiction Passage "Penguin Hospital"}

For Reading we had been doing a Non-Fictional Passage, which is called "Penguin Hospital".

It's about a woman called Viv Hextall, who lives at a beach near Wellington. Last year there was a family of penguins who came and lived under their house, after the nesting season they left and went to the sea. Except one.
This one penguin was sick, and Viv Hextall took care of the penguin and made it better. Her house became the "Penguin Hospital" because many injured and sick penguins was washed up in her garden, or sometimes they walk to her doorstep.

Anyways that's what the passage is about. So what I'm trying to do is make a gadget to keep the penguins there, safe.

I found it hard to come up with my own idea, so that people wouldn't think I copied theirs.

I found it easy to draw examples, and write them down.

Here's the picture of what I did.

  1. Hey Mark.
    I love your drawing it looks so real!
    Next time you could finish it lightly and do a nice dark line over to make it more see able!
    Do you think your an artist?
